I’m Ousmane Alsharif, a field journalist and documentary producer.
I travel with my camera and notebook across conflict zones, remote areas, and forgotten stories.
For more than ten years, I’ve been documenting real stories from Africa and the Middle East —
on behalf of international media outlets and independent platforms focused on deep human narratives — far from superficial headlines.
I have worked with channels like Al Jazeera, covering irregular migration, armed conflicts, and dominant groups,
as well as conducting field investigations from inside gold mines, border crossings, and displacement camps.
I believe journalism is not just a job of reporting — but a human responsibility:
one that begins with listening and ends with impact.
